An apple a day keeps the doctor away. haha.. well at least i tried giving something informative.. so i just had my dinner after being on the phone with my "ahem".. haha.. before that i slept n all. i didin't go to tuition coz i had a terrible headache + i did not have the mood at all.. yeaps.. so okay.. just now el toro bin najex* called me to watch this show on Kirana, he claimed it was funny coz it was a sabahan production n all.. so i flipped to the channel la =,= .. the movie was a Kadazan based movie called "odoi odu".. meaning "oh grandma".. so i figured there was gonna be some funny part but unfortunately left 15 mins more till the short movie ends.. so i just continued to watch larr. and then right.. omg man.. there was this lonely grandma fishing for a living then she cut her finger coz of the bamboo which is her *boat or *racket i oso dunno how to say.. well okay.. she caught some fishes, yipee! it was those fishes called *bahsung, famous fish kadazan ppl like to eat.. anyway.. so she went back to he place to apply some ointment on her wound.. she broke this stem of a plant and applied it on her wounded finger.. she was emphasising the pain several moans(painful, painful) in kadazan ofcourse.. n im sure its not aloe vera.. ahaha.. okay.. so she went back to her shack/home to cook the fishes for dinner i guess.. she cooked the fishes old school style with the fire, rocks n all.. n really this part really touched me u know.. her dinner plate was a *tempurung a half cut coconut shell.. yeah.. n omg i was like, i wish i was there to friend her eat u noe.. :'( n then the most sad part begins.. she finished her dinner n decided to have her dessert which i dont know if it was.. so anyway, while she was peeling, then eating, she took out a half-burned picture of her n her husband.. while she was staring at the picture.. she started crying n saying in Kadazan language " where are you my lover, where are you my lover?".. n she was all over the floor crying.. n really this i say really touched me.. then she sat at a corner, while placing the photo against her chest at the heart part.. n crying while day dream.. :( i really feel sad for her.. to top this all of, there were ppl passing by.. 3 ppl to be exact.. 1 mother n 2 kids, boy n girl.. the girl was holding a papaya which was a gift for the "grandma".. after she gave her the gift with a thankful heart she recieved, the mom of the two kids took their hands n said " lets go! that old woman is crazy!".. so they left.. the the grandma looked back n watch as they left..i think the place she was staying was her house looks wrecked n burned(that's why her picture of her husband n her is half burned, i think),coz i din watch the whole movie so i figured by the looks of the house.. the ending was,, the grandma sat in a dark corner alone thinking of her long lost husband..
what i learned in this short short movie is that, we should respect our elders for we might not know their past.. thus, the lost of a love one is for sure an impact to ones life.. my last words are.. take care of our elders and this is why i disagree by placing the elders in old folks' homes..
Thank you for the gift of love,
now you're sharing it up above.
You had many things to say.
All in a caring way.
You always saw good in everyone,
No matter what they've done.
You were always the one we could all lean on.
Even though it must have felt like a ton.
You were always the strength of the family.
Now we must let you rest calmly.
As we say goodbye,
as tears roll down our eyes.
I know your place in heaven has a good view.
Because you're telling God,
I need to keep an eye on a few.
I know you will always be in our hearts and mind.
So Grandma,
I must go, but I'll never forget you're one of a kind.
